Your HVAC scheme, in 3D, in your client’s browser
HVAC Viewer turns M&E drawings into a model people can actually explore: ductwork, fan-coils, fresh air and airflow, with the figures that matter, branded as your practice and opened from a single link.
Most clients can’t read an M&E drawing
Decisions stall
Landlords, occupiers and project managers sign off schemes they only half understand, and the questions arrive late.
The same questions, every meeting
How many people can this floor take? Why do the meeting rooms need more air? What changes from Cat A to Cat B?
Good design goes unseen
The thinking behind a scheme lives in drawings and spreadsheets. A model shows it in a minute, to anyone.
Everything a client needs to understand the scheme
Each model is built from your drawings and design figures and opens in any web browser.
See the services the way the drawing can’t
Orbit the whole floor, drop to plan view to line up with the drawing, look up from below at the ductwork, or explode the floor into layers.
- Orbit, plan, ceiling and exploded views
- Layers for fresh air, fan-coils, heat recovery, extract and refrigerant
- Tap any spot on the floor for the air at that seat
Cat A and Cat B, side by side
Switch between the existing installation and the proposed scheme in one tap. Partitions, new plant and new duct runs appear and the figures update.
- Any number of scenarios or design revisions
- Equipment, partitions and zones change with the scenario
- Revision notes and documents on the project page
The numbers clients actually ask about
A live panel shows fresh air per person, space per person, cooling capacity against estimated load, and estimated CO₂, each against your design targets.
- Drag the occupancy and watch every figure respond
- “How many people can this floor support?” answered on screen
- Benchmarks and targets set per project
Show where the air goes
Airflow particles leave each diffuser and age as they move, and the floor is shaded by estimated CO₂, so weak spots like full meeting rooms stand out immediately.
- Age-of-air colouring and CO₂ heat map
- Zone-by-zone fresh air per person
- Indicative, driven by your design figures
Guided tours that tell the story
Step-by-step tours fly the camera to each point in the scheme with a short explanation, optionally narrated, so the model presents itself when you are not in the room.
- Chapters with captions and spoken narration
- Present mode for screen-sharing on calls
- Save pictures and build slides from tour steps
Private, branded and on any device
Each practice gets its own address with your logo and colours. Clients sign in with their email and open the model on a laptop, tablet or phone.
- yourpractice.hvacviewer.com, behind a login
- Never indexed by search engines
- Project pages with video, documents, location and updates
Built for the people who design and sell HVAC schemes
M&E consultants
Present design options and the reasoning behind them, and win the client’s confidence early.
HVAC contractors
Stand out at tender with a model of your proposal, not just a drawing pack and a price.
Fit-out & design and build
Show the occupier what the services mean for their layout, headcount and comfort.
Landlords & agents
Answer the occupancy and fresh-air questions tenants ask, before they ask them.
Projects it suits
- Cat A to Cat B fit-outs
- Fresh-air upgrades
- VRF and fan-coil replacement
- Heat recovery (MVHR)
- Occupancy and density studies
- Landlord–tenant discussions

Questions people ask
What is HVAC Viewer?
HVAC Viewer turns a mechanical services scheme into an interactive 3D model that runs in a web browser. Clients can orbit the floor, look up at the ductwork, switch between Cat A and Cat B, see where the air goes and check the key figures (fresh air per person, space per person, cooling) against the design targets, without opening a drawing.
Who is it for?
M&E and building services consultants, HVAC design and installation contractors, fit-out and design-and-build companies, and the landlords, agents and occupiers they present schemes to. Anyone who has to explain an HVAC design to someone who does not read M&E drawings.
What do you need from us to build a model?
Usually the floor plan and the mechanical layouts as PDF or DWG, the equipment schedules and the design figures (fresh-air rates, occupancy, cooling loads). Revit or IFC models help but are not required. We build the model, the guided tour and the project page, and you review them before anything is shared.
Do clients need to install anything?
No. Models open in a normal web browser on a laptop, tablet or phone, including iPhone and Android. There is nothing to download and no plug-in.
How do you keep client projects confidential?
Each practice gets its own private address (for example yourpractice.hvacviewer.com) behind a login, with access granted email by email. Client models are excluded from search engines and never appear on this website.
Is the airflow a CFD simulation?
No. The airflow view is an indicative visualisation driven by the design figures: supply positions, fresh-air rates and occupancy. It is there to help people understand the scheme and spot questions early, and each model is marked as indicative design intent, not for construction. Where you have CFD results, we can show them in the model.
Can the viewer carry our branding?
Yes. Your logo, practice name and key colours appear in the viewer and on the project page, so the model goes to your client as your work.
How is it priced?
Per project, or as an ongoing arrangement for practices with a steady flow of schemes. It depends on the size of the floor and what you want in the model, so we agree a price after a short demo call.
